Crabby Shrimp Garlic Bread Bombs


 

For the Bread Dough:

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

For the Crab & Shrimp Filling:

  • ½ lb cooked shrimp, chopped

  • ½ lb lump crab meat

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • ½ tsp lemon zest

  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

(Optional: Add a dash of hot sauce for a spicy kick!)


Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prep the Dough & Filling

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, mix shrimp, crab, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, Old Bay, lemon zest, and chives.

2. Assemble the Bread Bombs

  1. Divide dough into 8 equal pieces.

  2. Flatten each piece into a 4-inch circle.

  3. Spoon 2 tbsp filling onto each circle.

  4. Pinch edges together to seal, forming a ball.

3. Bake to Golden Perfection

  1. Place bombs seam-side down on the baking sheet.

  2. Brush with garlic butter (melted butter + minced garlic).

  3. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.

4. Garnish & Serve!

  • Drizzle with remaining garlic butter.

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.

  • Serve with lemon wedges and marinara sauce for dipping.
