This OLD FASHIONED RICE PUDDING is delightfully easy and will come out of the oven looking like heaven !! My husband and I made this to serve as dessert after Christmas dinner and have decided that it will become our new family’s Christmas dinner tradition.
YOU’LL NEED :
– 2/3 c. Minute Rice
– 2 3/4 c. milk
– 1/3 c. sugar
– 1 tbsp. butter
– 1/2 tsp. salt
– 1/2 tsp. vanilla
– 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
– 1/2 c. raisins
1. Pick a buttered 1 quart baking dish and combine in Minute Rice, milk & raisins, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla & nutmeg together.
2. Next, make sure to bake in 350 degree oven for about an hour, stirring after 15 mins and again when pudding is done.
3. Once done, sprinkle with cinnamon.
4. Finally, serve warm or chilled. Pudding thickens as it stands
