Country Apple Fritter Bread


Irresistible Country Apple Fritter Bread! You can have this for dessert or an afternoon snack with coffee or tea! My brother ate two pieces and took half of the rest of cake home with him. Make sure to add it to my cake repertoire!!

Brown Sugar/Cinnamon Mixture;

– 1/3 C of light brown sugar
– 1 Tsp of ground cinnamon

Bread Loaf;

– 1/2 C of butter softened
– 2/3 C of granulated sugar
– 2 Eggs room temp
– 11/2 Tsp of vanilla extract
– 11/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 13/4 Tsp of baking powder
– 1/2 C of milk or almond milk room temp

Chopped Apple Mixture;

– 2 Peeled and chopped apples (any kind) .


Chopped Apple Mixture;

1. 2 peeled and chopped apples (any kind).
2. Using 2 tbsp granulated sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon, toss apples right before adding it to the bread mixture.

Old-Fashioned Creme Glaze;
– 1/2 C. of powdered sugar
– 1-3 Tbsp milk or cream- depending on thickness of glaze wanted.

3. If you want more apple fritter style like the apple fritter donut, you should use more milk for a thinner glaze that you can pour over the whole loaf.
