Donkey Balls are tasty flaky morsels filled with onions and sausages, they’re going to disappear soon!
– 2 pkg crescent rolls pref buttery flavored.
– 1 can cream cheese.
– 1 PKG jimmy dean sausage, use the standard size.
– 1 small white onion, minced.
– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
-STEP 1- In a large skillet mix, cook the sausages with garlic powder and minced onion until golden brown and finely crispy. Drain the sausages.
-STEP 2- Take the space with the cream cheese and the bacon combination. I don’t apply salt and pepper because of the butter flavoring in the rolls.
-STEP 3- Unroll the crescent rolls and split the crescent in half to shape a triangle.
-STEP 4-In each crescent roll, take a tablespoon of the mixture and a spoon. Then wrap the mixture in a small ball to be sure the mixture stays contained inside.
-STEP 5- Place the balls on the cookie sheets and cook for 8 minutes, It’s around 40 to 48 balls.
-STEP 6- Remove from the oven, let it cool on a wire rack, it will be good in 3 minutes.
