This recipe is a simple one, no failure. And beginners are lucky enough to do it. Just follow the directions and at home, you too can make tasty, simple, big fat yeast rolls.
* 4 cups all-purpose flour.
* 1 package active dry yeast.
* 1 cup of warm water.
* 1/4 cup white sugar.
* 3 tablespoons softened butter.
* 1 teaspoon salt.
* 1 egg, beaten.
Step 1_Place water and yeast in a large mixing bowl and add the 4 ingredients that follow.
Step 2_Beat the dough hook until fully combined.
Step 3_Apply 4 cups of flour and combine until the dough is smooth.
Step 4_Place it on a floured board and knead it a couple of times until smooth. Place in a greased pan, cover with plastic wrap, and let grow approximately 45 minutes, in a warm place.
Step 5_Punch it down and place it on the floured surface.
Step 6_Form into 12 rolls and put them in the baking pan. And let it rise for around 30 minutes again.
Step 7_Bake for 20 minutes, at 350 degrees then brush roll tops with butter.
