– Garlic: 2 teaspoons, minced
– Italian herb blend: 1 teaspoon, dried
– Fresh thyme: 1 teaspoon, chopped
– Fresh parsley: 1 teaspoon, chopped
STEPS TO MAKE IT :
STEP 1 :
Before you begin the preparation, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Then together combine butter, garlic, and dried herbs in a small bowl; set aside. Generously season steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
STEP 2 :
Next, go ahead and place skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with oil. Sear steaks until nice and browned, it takes around 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Time done, you can transfer to a plate and set aside.
STEP 3 :
You’ll want to add potatoes to the skillet. Generously season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder then saute until browned, it takes around 3 to 5 minutes. Once browned, go ahead and push potatoes to one side of the pan. And please return steaks to the other side of the pan.
STEP 4 :
Alright now, transfer to oven and cook until potatoes are fork-tender and steak is cooked to your preferred doneness, it takes around 15 to 20 minutes.
STEP 5 :
Finally, remove from oven and place a dollop of the garlic butter on each steak and the rest on the potatoes. Always remember to let it melt over the food before stirring the potatoes to coat in butter. Make sure to top with chopped thyme and parsley before serving.
