Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

My all time favorite pie !! I made this coconut cream pie yesterday and had it for dessert tonight and it a big hit !! DEfinitely a keeper !!

YOU’LL NEED :

– Cream: 3 cups
– Eggs: 2
– Sugar: 3/4 cup
– All-purpose flour: 1/2 cup
– Salt: 1/4 tsp.
– Grated coconut: 1 cup (toasted)
– Vanilla extract: 1 C. teaspoon
– Pie shell: 1 (baked)
– Whipped cream: 1 cup

LET’S MAKE IT :

STEP 1 :
First, bring the cream, eggs, sugar, flour and salt to a boil in a saucepan over low heat. Immediately remove from the heat and stir in 3/4 cup of the coconut and vanilla extract. Okay now, you may want to pour into pie shell and refrigerate until filling is firm, about 2 to 4 hours.

STEP 2 :
Once done, top with whipped cream and the remaining 1/4 cup coconut. Enjoy !!
