It takes a little patience, ideally a bread maker or a dough mixer, and a lot of gluttony and friends to share … ultra soft rolled buns, sweetened with cinnamon … they are called cinnamon rolls, very popular in the States United (Cinnabons is the benchmark brand) and in the Nordic countries where they are called Kanelbulle. If you really want to indulge your sweet tooth, add a little cream cheese frosting and caramelized pecans.

* List of ingredients :

° 600 g of flour
° 2 eggs
° 230 ml of lukewarm milk
° 100 g of sugar
° 75 g of melted butter
° 1 sachet of baker’s yeast
° Cinnamon sugar
° 220 g of vergeoise or brown sugar or brown sugar
° 75 g of soft butter
° 10 g cinnamon
Icing
° 200 g icing sugar
° 50 soft butter
° 100 g of fresh cheese spread like Saint Moret
° 1 c. vanilla extract

* Recipe steps:

Make the dough, ideally with a bread machine, if not by hand. Bread machine: put the warm milk, eggs, sugar, melted butter in order, cover with flour and finally the yeast. Use the dough program.
By hand: conversely, dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and sugar. In a container, put the flour, make a well and add the 2 eggs one by one then the milk / sugar / yeast mixture then the melted butter
Form a ball with the dough, cover and let rise for 1 hour in an oven (oven off, closed, with bowl of boiling water)
Roll out the very fine dough on a floured work surface. Spread the soft butter over the entire surface with your hands, then sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Roll into a sausage shape and slice 4 cm wide sections.
Arrange the sections on a sheet of baking paper in a dish (with edges if possible)
Cover with food paper and let rise in the oven for 1 hour
Preheat the oven to 200 ° c and cook the cinnabons for 15-20 minutes (they must be golden brown)
Make the icing: beat the cheese, soft butter, sugar and vanilla with your electric whisk. Coat the cinnabons with this icing as soon as they come out of the oven
