Six Minute Caramels

Fast and simple caramels with just one bowl and no candy thermometer, made in the microwave! Sprinkle them with salt, dip them or drizzle them with chocolate, or wrap them as gifts in the waxed paper!
These are tasty little chewy caramels that are really easy to make and no thermometer for candy is required!! They can be found in any dish that allows you to buy little caramels and unwrap them and are only perfectly enjoyed on their own.
INGREDIENTS:
– 1/2 C.Of regular white sugar.
– 1/2 C.Of brown sugar.
– 1/2 C.Of -Karo- syrup.
– 1/2 C.Of sweetened condensed milk.
– 1/4 C.Of softened butter.

• INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1- Combine all ingredients in a MEDIUM safe microwave bowl, the mixture will bubble up so make sure there is lots of room in the bowl.
Step 2- For 6 minutes, microwave on high, stirring every 90 seconds.
Step 3- Pour into a buttered dish and cool thoroughly. Slice into little squares.
Step 4- Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top, if desired.
