BlackBerry Cobbler


*ingredients

2 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries (thawed and drained) (do not use blueberries)
1 cup of sugar
1 cup Golden All-Purpose™ Flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
salt 1/2 tsp
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup melted butter
Cream, whipped cream or ice cream to taste

In a medium bowl, mix blackberries and sugar together. Leave it for 20 minutes or until the fruit syrup forms. Preheat  oven to 375 degrees F

In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Stir in the melted butter until blended. Spread in an ungreased 8-inch square pan. Pour the blackberry mixture over the mixture.

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until the dough has risen and is golden. Serve warm with cream.
