Traditional Potato Pancakes


Put three tablespoons of oil into a pan and heat it off.In the heated pan, add 3/4 to 1/2 cup of the mixture.Cook for a few minutes in the fryer before turning over, or until golden.Rinse quickly with paper towels.


While still hot, top with applesauce and serve with sour cream, yogurt, powdered sugar, or both.As an alternative, you could use them as a side dish with some meat and gravy.
