Ingredients
1 lb white American cheese, shredded or cubed (from the deli counter works best)
1/2 cup milk(or more for desired consistency)
1/4 cup heavy cream(optional, for extra creaminess)
1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles, undrained
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1–2 teaspoons diced jalapeños(optional, for heat)
Salt, to taste
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Melt the Cheese
In a medium saucepan, combine the white American cheese and milk over low heat.
